The iconic Hotshot is back for the first time since 1987, but this time Tamiya has a twist! Following the hugely popular release of the Wild One Off-Roader, Blockhead Motors edition kit, Tamiya has once again invited Japanese designer, Jun Watanabe to put his own spin on the legendary Hotshot II.
The Hotshot II features a pre-cut and pre-painted polycarbonate body (0.7mm thickness) in a brilliant blue color. The new roll cage has been positioned higher to ensure a more realistic raised driver position. The uprights and wheels are matte-finish metal-plated, adding to the model's sleek and rugged aesthetics.
Included in the kit are new stickers designed by Jun Watanabe's brand "BLOCKHEAD MOTORS", as well as scale details such as number plates, light pods, side plates, window nets, and a dummy antenna. The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension utilizes one front transverse and two rear CVA II oil dampers, providing a smooth and responsive handling experience.
Powering this off-road masterpiece is a 540-type brushed motor and ESC, ensuring reliable and exhilarating performance on the trails. The Hotshot II is ready to take on any terrain, thanks to its robust construction and attention to detail.
