RC Nova Fox Buggy for Tamiya 58577

The updated R/C model of the original FOX off-road buggy, released in 1985, is now called the Novafox, retaining the dust and dirt resistance features of the original while employing dog-bone type rear drive-shafts to enhance the vehicle's reliability.

This 1/10 scale assembly kit is designed for off-road terrain and features a 2WD drive-train with a gearbox. The drive-line utilizes dog-bone components, and the differential is gear-based. The suspension system is a fully independent double wishbone design, with a direct servo-based steering mechanism and friction dampers made of plastic.

The tires are rubber, with a grooved front tread and pin spike rear tread. The body is constructed from polycarbonate, while the chassis is made of plastic. An Electronic Speed Control (ESC) unit, model TEU-105BK, is included, but the model does not feature any LED lights or buckets.

The power source is a 540-brushed type motor, with shielded ball bearings. The camber is fixed, while the toe angles are adjustable only at the front. The ground clearance, gear ratio, wheelbase, and track width are all fixed, as is the shock angle.

The model measures 425mm in length, 225mm in width, and 133mm in height, featuring a durable ABS resin monocoque frame. It boasts several special features, including dual CVA dampers at the rear and a single horizontally-placed CVA damper at the front, as well as gold-colored metal-plated wheels.

To complete the Novafox, the user will need to provide a 2-channel radio gear, a 7.2 battery and charger, and polycarbonate paint.
